O WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross sugeriu num recente episódio do seu podcast que a WWE deveria fazer um combate entre Brock Lesnar e Batista na Wrestlemania 32.
“Hey, I got an idea for you…what about Bautista, the heel, coming back and taking on Brock Lesnar, the babyface, at WrestleMania in April in Dallas?”.“I could live with that main event… red hot Batista coming back and urinating all over the fans and being a big star and being very arrogant and full of himself and being a bad ass, believing his clippings and he wants to take on the biggest dog in the yard. I don’t dislike that match.”
Resumidamente, Ross afirma que seria boa ideia Batista regressar como heel e assumir a sua velha personagem de arrogante e "bad ass" contra um Brock Lesnar top babyface. Ross acrescentou também que gostaria de ver esse combate como main event do show.
